“My flesh and blood My memory My loved ones Give me back my blood from out of your veins Back into my abdomen your entrails”.
Anahat’s production is a triptych that gathers the fragmentary pieces of the Medea’s myth. The wasteland is the landscape of those who experience exile in the aftermath of a war without heroes. Linear narrative and notions of time-space are put into question as Second World War Germany morphs itself into Greece and the story resolves in London 2009.
This radical interpretation of the play will take you on a wild voyage.
